Shared recipes
If you choose to share a recipe, qffee.in may create a share link and store information required to make that recipe available according to the visibility option you select.
Depending on the feature, recipes may be:
- private
- accessible through a shared link
- publicly accessible
You should avoid including personal, confidential or sensitive information in recipe names, notes or other fields that you choose to make publicly accessible.
Feedback and support
Suggestion response names and private notes are visible only to the recipe owner and Qffee support (Super Admin) for troubleshooting.
When you submit feedback, report a problem, request a feature or contact us, we may collect:
- information you provide
- your contact details
- the page or feature involved
- technical information useful for investigating the issue
Usage and technical information
When you use qffee.in, our systems may automatically receive limited technical information such as:

3. Recipe Engine data
qffee.in uses software systems to process brewing information and produce recipe recommendations.
Information submitted to the qffee.in Recipe Engine may be processed automatically to generate a result.
We may retain inputs, generated outputs and related technical information where necessary to provide features such as saved recipes, recipe history, troubleshooting, usage controls and service improvement.
Generated recipes are intended as brewing guidance.
4. Improving qffee.in
We may analyse product usage, brewing inputs, generated results, feedback and technical information to understand how qffee.in performs and to improve our tools.
Where practical, we may use aggregated or de-identified information so that it is not directly associated with an identifiable user.
We do not sell your private recipe content or use it for unrelated advertising purposes.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
qffee.in may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in
- maintain secure sessions
- remember application state
- protect the service
- maintain preferences
- understand basic service usage

We may retain aggregated or properly de-identified information that no longer identifies an individual.
10. Deleting recipes and account information
Where the relevant feature is available, you may delete individual saved recipes directly through qffee.in.
You may also request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us.
When an account is deleted, we remove the account and its personal content. Deleted data can remain in backups for up to 30 days. We keep limited security records linked only to an internal ID, without your name, email or notes.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups, security records or systems where retention is required for legal, fraud-prevention or legitimate security purposes.
Shared or public content may also remain temporarily available through cached systems after deletion.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including the ability to:
- request information about personal data we process about you
- request correction of inaccurate information
- request completion or updating of information
- request deletion of eligible personal data
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Changing or deleting a shared recipe does not guarantee deletion of copies that other people may already have created outside qffee.in.

15. Business and white-label services
qffee.in may provide services to coffee roasters, cafés, educators or other organisations through customised or white-label versions of its tools.
Where an organisation provides a service powered by qffee.in to its own customers, the organisation and qffee.in may have different responsibilities for personal data depending on how that service is configured.
